Step 1: Add Permissions to AndroidMenifest.xml

Step 2: Create resources file no_internet_connection.xml

Step 3: Create a package named "utility"

Step 4: Create a new class named "Common" inside the package "utility" and create a method "isConnectedToInternet" which returns the boolean data type.

            NetworkInfo[] info =  connectivityManager.getAllNetworkInfo();
            if (info!=null){
                for (NetworkInfo networkInfo : info) {
                    if (networkInfo.getState() == NetworkInfo.State.CONNECTED) {
                        return true;
                    }
                }
            }
        }
        return false;
    }
}



Step 5: Create a new class named "NetworkChangeListener" inside the package "utility" and extends the class by "BroadcastReceiver" and Override the "onReceive" method.

import android.content.BroadcastReceiver;
import android.content.Context;
import android.content.Intent;
import android.view.Gravity;
import android.view.LayoutInflater;
import android.view.View;

import com.ashish.checkinternetcontineously.R;

public class NetworkChangeListener extends BroadcastReceiver {
    @Override
    public void onReceive(Context context, Intent intent) {
        if(!Common.isConnectedToInternet(context)){
            AlertDialog.Builder builder =  new AlertDialog.Builder(context);
            View view = LayoutInflater.from(context).inflate(R.layout.no_internet_connection,null);
            builder.setView(view);

            AppCompatButton btnRetry = view.findViewById(R.id.btn_retry);

            AlertDialog dialog = builder.create();
            dialog.show();
            dialog.setCancelable(false);
            dialog.getWindow().setGravity(Gravity.CENTER);

            btnRetry.setOnClickListener(view1 -> {
                dialog.dismiss();
                onReceive(context,intent);
            });
        }
    }
}



Step 6: We registered and unregistered the listener in "MainActivity.java"

import android.net.ConnectivityManager;
import android.os.Bundle;

import com.ashish.checkinternetcontineously.utils.NetworkChangeListener;

    NetworkChangeListener networkChangeListener = new NetworkChangeListener();
    
    @Override
    protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
    }

    @Override
    protected void onStart() {
        IntentFilter intentFilter = new IntentFilter(ConnectivityManager.CONNECTIVITY_ACTION);
        registerReceiver(networkChangeListener,intentFilter);
        super.onStart();
    }

    @Override
    protected void onStop() {
        unregisterReceiver(networkChangeListener);
        super.onStop();
    }
}


Step 7: We have successfully created.
